The route begins in front of four displays were
some prehistoric tools are shown, as well as some drawings about
the first hunter men.
We continue with an exposition
of wooden meat processing machines provided both by the firm and by
some other houses in the shire. They were built around 1800 and they
are all different.

The slaughter man was hired for the occasion, as well as the “mocadera”
(woman who knows the art of stuffing), who seasoned and elaborated
the sausage
Pictures on the Sala family and other workers of
the firm, from 1908. The original film is made with crystal and
we preserve it in our files.
Wooden kneading machines used to mix the minced
meat with salt, pepper and any other spice to be added.
Expositor with several tools used for the slaughter,
and with some funnels used to manually stuff the tripe. There are
also some office tools used by the firm during the last one and a
half century.
The visit ends in the shop where some of the sausage from
La Garrotxa can be tasted for free. Some souvenirs from the museum
and the shire of La Garrotxa can be purchased here too.
